Revader at Transport Security Expo 2014

Revader Security will be exhibiting at the Transport Security Expo on 2nd – 3rd December 2014 at Olympia in London.

The team will be demonstrating how the range of rapid re-deployable solutions are effective in the transportation environment for combating crime and terrorism, in addition to improving operational efficiency and keeping travellers safe.

Combining HD or D1 standard video recording with up to 2TB of video storage and transmission through Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 3G or 4G, the Revader range provides a total security solution all in one unit that is far superior to traditional CCTV systems, which incur large project, infrastructure, human and maintenance costs. Installed in any location in a matter of minutes, the products are straightforward to use, yet offer powerful and dependable solutions to fulfil all types of security needs.

The products take into account that they may quite often need to be located in harsh environments where no power source exists, and can therefore be powered by any 12V source. Defence-engineered in London, all Revader products are constructed in a ruggedised, ballistics-resistant housing, rated at the rigorous IP67 technical standard and are designed for use in any environment. The product range is ideal for use across the transport sector, including in airport terminals and concourses, railway stations, vehicle depots, bus terminals, shipping ports, and even on-board ships.

“Demand for high specification, rapid re-deployable video solutions continues to increase and we are therefore delighted to have the opportunity to work alongside our sister company, Wavestore, at the Transport Security Expo to demonstrate how governments, local authorities, police and transport service providers can work smarter by reacting quickly and effectively to crime and safety hazards,” said Stuart Caldecourt, Director of Revader Security.

“Our 360 degree models in particular have attracted considerable attention from this sector already, as they can significantly reduce the number of cameras and personnel needed to monitor an area without any blind spots. All models are however, provided with all the component parts of a plug and play style, re-deployable solution, which has the means to record, store and transmit the captured images.

Furthermore, the rugged construction of Revader’s products enables their use in an ever-widening spectrum of applications.”
